Harsha Bharathakoti wins Brennan's Open 2025
GM Harsha Bharathakoti and IM Tianqi Wang (USA) scored an unbeaten 4.5/5 each at Brennan's Open 2025 Open. Harsha won the tournament. His sole draw of the event was against the eventual second runner-up, GM Illya Nyzhnyk (UKR) in the penultimate round. The total prize fund was US$ 4200. The top three prizes were US$ 1000, $600 and $400 in the Open section. The three-day five round Rating Open tournament was organized by Saint Louis Chess Club at Chase Park Plaza Hotel in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA from 3rd to 5th October 2025.
